The Tanzania Pastoralist and Hunter-Gatherer Organization (TAPHGO)

Tanzania Pastoralist, hunter-gatherers organization (TAPHGO) is a voluntary, autonomous and non profit making umbrella organization formed by pastoralist and hunter - gatherers NGO's and CBO's in Tanzania. It endeavours to lobby and advocate the rights of pastoralist and hunter gatherers communities.

TAPHGO has its offices in Arusha at Sakina area, along Nairobi road, opposite Sakina super market.
Currently TAPHGO has 32 member organizations which are operating in twelve regions namely Manyara, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Morogoro, Pwani, Iringa, Mbeya, Tanga, Shinyanga, Dodoma, Mwanza and Singida.
